Screw Compressors

A screw compressor compresses refrigerant by using two interlocking helical rotors. As the rotors turn, refrigerant gas is drawn in, trapped between the rotor lobes, and compressed as it moves along the length of the screws. This process increases the pressure of the refrigerant before it moves through the rest of the cooling system.
